Who I Am
Annette Lindley is the founder and sole proprietor of Paradigm Consulting Service for providing quality, timely, honest, and effective risk management and loss control consultation service for both private businesses and public entities. She launched her career over 26 years ago when as a nursing student at California State University Fresno she constantly fainted. This was a defining moment in her career choice when she came to believe that preventing injuries and illness was her true life calling and changed her nursing major to environmental and occupational health science.
With a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Health, Annette Lindley has dedicated her career to occupational and environmental health and safety. She is a Certified Safety Professional, a Certified Playground Safety Inspector, a Certified Paralegal, and has professional designations for Associate Loss Control Risk Management (ALCM) and Risk Management for Public Entities (RMPE). She spent her first eighteen years working for insurance companies providing loss prevention and risk management services for all lines of commercial coverage. This included property, general liability, products liability, industrial hygiene, insurance coverage and contracts review, fleet, and workers’ compensation. The following eight years she worked for public entities that included K-12 public schools, a Joint Powers Authority for public school districts, and a large community college district.
In addition to applying the same focus of expertise from her commercial business to the public sector, Annette Lindley acquired claims management skills for excelling in workers’ compensation. She has a passion for workers’ compensation and as an independent consultant, she wants to share her passion, successes, and loss prevention expertise with employers and businesses. The business name and logo represent what her consultation business specializes in; shifting the paradigm (established patterns of thought that are entrenched by learned experiences and environmental influences) by applying innovative strategies to reduce the cost of claims, particularly workers’ compensation.
